The Oil and Gas Regulatory Authority (Ogra) has put in place an elaborate system to deal with public complaints pertaining to the conduct of licensees doing businesses of natural gas (sui gas), compressed natural gas (CNG) and liquefied petroleum gas (LPG).
This newly established process will help customers to get their complaints redressed within a stipulated time frame.
The Ogra has framed complaint resolution procedure regulations and has established a cell for handling complaints pertaining to any act of omission or commission by any sui gas, CNG, LPG company in violation of the ordinance, rules, regulations, order of the authority or terms and conditions of the license or any other reason.
Application forms can be obtained from the office of the Ogra registrar, Tariq Chambers, Civic Centre, G-6 Islamabad, during office timings (telephone no. 9221732). No fee is prescribed.
Complete procedure along with the application form is also available on Ogra's website: www.orga.org.pk.
The application should be accompanied by all supporting documents having all necessary particulars of the complaint written in English or Urdu.
