LYON: Armando Sadiku scored Albania's first ever goal in a major international tournament to give the Balkan minnows a 1-0 Euro 2016 Group A half-time lead over Romania.

Victory could yet see Albania qualify for the last 16 as one of the four best third-placed sides, despite losing their opening two matches.

Romania also need to win to have any chance of reaching the knockout stages.

In the other game in Group A, hosts France were tied 0-0 with Switzerland in Lille.
