ZTBL allocates Rs 15 billion for Kharif season

Zarai Taraqiati Bank Limited (ZTBL) on Monday announced that in order to fulfil credit needs of small farmers, the bank has allocated Rs 15 billion for Kharif season with co-ordination of postal authorities and revenue officials of provincial governments under one-window operation.
"One-window operation" for Kharif lending started on April 19, across the country.
Under the scheme, post office and revenue officials, besides mobile credit officer of the Bank, shall remain present at focal points at tehsil level every Monday and Tuesday.
The Bank has also increased per acre credit limit for different crops so that credit requirements of the small farmers could be met.
Sanctioning powers of mobile credit officers for production loan under one-window operation have been enhanced to Rs 0.1 million for general lending and under revolving finance scheme to Rs 0.2 million.
Similarly, sanctioning powers of branch managers have also been enhanced to Rs 0.25 million and Rs 0.5 million respectively to ensure timely and maximum disbursement of credit to the farming community.
