JICA sends three senior volunteers to help Smeda

Japan International Cooperation Agency (JICA) has sent a batch of another three Senior Volunteers (SVs) to help Small and Medium Enterprise Development Authority (Smeda) for technological up-gradation of industry in Pakistan.
According to an information received from Smeda here on Wednesday the SVs who arrived this month from Japan include Akira Matsuda, Tomio Fuwa and Takao Miyazaki.
Under a program of up-gradation of industry, besides recently arrived SVs, other two such batches had already arrived in Pakistan in November last.
The last two SVs are due to arrive in the country by the end of this year, Smeda says.
