All Parties Hurriyat Conference(APHC), AJK Chapter has decided to stage protest demonstration on Tuesday outside the Indian High Commission on the occasion of the first phase of elections drama in Indian occupied Kashmir scheduled to be held on April 20.
Addressing a press conference on the occasion of death anniversary of People League Founder, Sheikh S Hameed, APHC leaders, Dr Sheikh Walid Rasool, Pervez Advocate, Abdul Latif and others said that dream of peace in South Asia can not be come true without the solution of occupied Kashmir dispute.
On this day, a rally will be organised in Islamabad, which will march to the Indian High Commission, they said.
They said that APHC in Indian occupied Kashmir will call strike on the occasion of each phase of elections.
They said that Kashmiri people have rejected every process of election and selections initiated by the Indian occupational forces and the people at the helm of affairs in India.
India is trying to grind her own axis but it is an open secret which has been acknowledged recently by the Indian Prime Minister A B Vajpayee in Jammu that election conducted so for in occupied Kashmir were rigged and manipulated, they said.
They said that it is ripe and right time that peace-loving world must realise that elections are not a substitute of right of self-determination.
Total boycott of the people of occupied Jammu and Kashmir will again prove an expression of the free decision against Indian occupation and a substitute for plebiscite, they added.
The APHC leaders and political leadership of Azad Jammu and Kashmir will address the rally, renewing the pledge to continue the liberation struggle till Kashmiris' right to self-determination is secured.
