The Judicial Magistrate East, Pervezul Qadir Memon on Saturday extended the date for submitting the challan of Mohajir Quami Movement Haqiqi (MQM-H) Chairman, Afaq Ahmed.
The Judicial Magistrate directed the investigation officer to submit charge sheet against him on April 20, 2004.
The challan was to be submitted by the police on Saturday but investigation officer requested the court for extension of date for submitting the challan.
The MQM-H Chairman, Afaq Ahmed was arrested in killing, abduction case.
According to details, Afaq Ahmed, along with other co-accused, is charged with killing Farooq Ahmed, activist of the MQM (Altaf group) and injuring two others, Attaullah and Anwar, in Landhi, here on June 19, 1992.
He is further charged for kidnapping 14 activists of rival group.
