Notice served to PIDC General Manager

The Ministry of Industries and Production has served notices to Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation (PIDC) General Manager (GM), Muhammad Aslam Chandio to not interfere into the affairs of State Cement Corporation of Pakistan (SCCP).
The sources told newsman that ministry of industries and production had received complaints that GM of PIDC, who was also Managing Director (MD) of Javedan Cement Limited, was allegedly interfering into the affairs of SCCP, due to the absence of its chairman.
Sources said the GM called the officers of SSCP, those were senior to him, by presenting himself the representative of the Chairman State Cement and invited the documents related to important affairs of the company.
However, when the alleged involvement of Chandio in SCCP affairs was revealed to the senior officers of the ministry of industries and production, the PIDC Chairman declaring the GM interference illegal and irregular, and directed him to not interfere into SCCP affairs, the sources said.
Sources claimed that Chandio was considered to be a closed associate of the ministry of industries high-ups, and just for the reasons he possessed several offices simultaneously, as an acting MD Javedan Cement Company Limited, GM Admin and Personnel Pakistan Industrial Development Corporation, GM Co-ordination, Iran Pakistan Industries and Protocol Officer to the minister of industries and production.
Sources also said that Chandio had also been demoted on the allegations of misappropriation and mal-administration for several times.
They claimed that on the allegations of misuse and stretching over powers, it was recommended that Chandio should not be placed at any position of authority.
