Former deputy commissioner and brother get bail

Justice Ghulam Nabi Soomro of Sindh High Court admitted two applicants former Deputy Commissioner Arif Illahi and his brother Sohail Illahi to bail against a solvent surety of Rs 50,000 each.
Both the applicants were sentenced to serve 18 months and 12 months Rigorous Imprisonment (RI) and to pay a fine of rupees 5,000 each in a case by a Sessions court at Karachi a few days back.
The trial court soon after announcing the orders suspended its operation for 30 days allowing time to the accused/convicts to prefer an appeal.
They were booked on complaint of their maternal uncle who alleged that they tress passed into his property and injured him.
