09 Apr, 2004

Director General Hamriyah Free Zone (HFZ) Dr Rashid Al Aleem invited Pakistani investors to set up their industrial units in Hamriyah Free Zone.
Addressing a seminar, organised by Hamriyah Free Zone Authority at a local hotel, he underlined the sectors, including food processing units, textile mills, garment manufacturing units, leather garment, chemicals besides oil and gas for Pakistani investors.
He said: "In HFZ, the government of Sharjah is providing a unique opportunity to the Pakistani business community and they can have their branch offices and subsidiaries in Sharjah without the involvement of locals on cent percent ownership rights."
"Only Pakistanis will have the facility to recruit workforce from Pakistan for their Sharjah office, he said, adding, "the government and people of Sharjah are giving special priority to Pakistan."
The prime objective of this visit, he said, was to enhance trade links between two brotherly countries.
