Equities scored handsome gains under the lead of hot favourites at the Islamabad Stock Exchange (ISE) on Wednesday where bulls continued to stay in the driving seat amid increase in index.
ISE network index was plus by 72.91 points from 11,106.01 to 11,178.92 points.
The overall turnover amounted to 77,066,00 shares as compared to previous volume of 55,050,00 shares.
Of total 176 companies which participated in buying and selling activity, 117 gainers led the scene, 58 closed in minus territory, and one company remained pegged to its overnight level.
The turnover of OGDC was 4,994,000 shares as compared to previous volume of 3,343,000 shares.
The volume of Fauji Fertiliser was 814,500 shares as compared to previous turnover of 674,000 shares. The turnover of Hubco was 677,000 shares.
