Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 82,818 tonnes of cargo including 73,504 tonnes import and 9,314 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Wednesday.
The cargo comprised of 26,534 tonnes dry and 56,284 tonnes liquid cargo.
Six ships namely Bunga Delima, Kota Teraju, Gao He, Chem Baltic, Swat and Yanaseni sailed out to sea during the report period.
Five vessels viz Apl Emerald, Kota Waruna, Chem Baltic, Oriental Bright and Amphion are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Florida, Chitral, Patriach and Apl Emerald expected to sail on Wednesday, while three vessels viz Kota Waruna, Amphion and Johar are expected to sail on Thursday.
Four ships namely Ghazee, Hyundai Sprinter, Corinthiakos and Warbah due to arrive on Wednesday, while five vessels viz Safmarine Pak, Colombo, Sanlorezo, Norasia Sindh and Triton are due to arrive on Thursday.

The cargo comprised of 4,086 tonnes edible oil; 5,962 tonnes chemicals and 20,570 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three vessels namely Chemroad Vega, Bow Chain and CMA CGM Chardine sailed out to sea during the report period.
M. T. Qem Star is currently at the outer anchorage.

Container vessel Patmos Senator due to arrive on Wednesday, while another ship M. V. Athenoula is due to arrive on Thursday.
