Majlis-i-Amal demands end to Wana operation

The Acting President of Muttahida Majlis-i-Amal Qazi Hussain Ahmed has demanded to end the military operation against the innocent people in Wana and said that all the policies of General Musharraf have been proved unsuccessful.
Addressing the rally "Save Atomic Bomb" arranged by Shabab Milli here on Tuesday, he also demanded the ouster of President Musharraf in the larger interest of the country. He said that he should remove the uniform and appoint a new Chief of Army Staff otherwise MMA will launch a movement against him.
Qazi Hussain Ahmed said that it was an unfortunate day when on the call of USA, President has taken a U-turn and termed him responsible what was done in Afghanistan and in Iraq.
He said that Musharraf had provided air bases to USA for the destruction of Afghanistan and in Wana he also conceded defeat.
He urged the Muslim Ummah to forge unity in its rank to give a befitting reply to America.
He said that USA wishes to replace the Quranic verses from the educational syllabus by recommending that Education system should be handed over to Aga Khan and take control of Madressahs by the government.
He said that if we do not show resistance Aga Khan University will take the control of the syllabus by 2006.
Qazi Hussain said that nuclear programme is not safe in the hands of present rulers. He said that Musharraf has declared Jehad as terrorism and the military operation in Wana is against our Muslim brethren.
