Bilawal chairs party's coordination committee meeting

KARACHI: Bilawal Bhutto Zardari, Chairman Pakistan Peoples Party, has expressed satisfaction with the performance of Party's Coordination Committee of Sindh and directed it to speed up reorganization process involving every worker and their opinion.

PPP Chairman presided over the meeting of Party's Coordination Committee, Sindh at Bilawal House here on Monday, says a statement.

It said that Chief Minister Syed Qaim Ali Shah and Senator Sherry Rehman attended the meeting, among members of the Committee including Nisar Ahmed Khuhro, Murad Ali Shah, Maula Bux Chandio, Nafisa Shah and Rashid Rabbani.

Bilawal Bhutto Zardari directed the Committee to include women also among office-bearers for mother organizations and hold separate workers meetings for other wings like Women, Youth, Student, Labour etc.

Committee briefed the Chairman about its activities so far as workers meetings have been completed in eight districts and some recommendations prepared through consensus and input from Party cadres for their respective District Organizations.

On the occasion, PPP Chairman also asked the Chief Minister to ensure that Sindh government goes for anti-corruption legislation, with input from civil society, for conducting impartial and independent accountability in the province.
