Mian Anjum Nisar, President, Lahore Chamber of Commerce and Industry (LCCI), has congratulated Abdullah Yousaf on his appointment as Chairman of the Central Board of Revenue.
In a press statement issued here on Monday, the LCCI Chief said that the business community is facing difficulties because of existing complexities in taxation system.
He hoped that the new CBR Chairman would try his best to simplify the taxation system in consultation with trade bodies including LCCI.
Anjum Nisar also appealed to the new CBR chairman to take necessary measures to curb menace of smuggling, which is damaging country's economy.
