It is indeed my pleasure and honour that, by God's grace, JJVL has achieved Financial Close and the Ground Breaking Ceremony is being performed today.
We, at Associated Group, have put our hearts and souls in the development of this Project. It is a labour of love.
At the same time, I feel humbled and grateful for the great trust reposed in us by the Government and the Financial Institutions in allowing us to implement this nationally important Project. I must express my gratitude and thanks to the Honourable Prime Minister, the Minister for Petroleum, the Minister for Finance, Secretary Petroleum, Managing Director of SSGC, Chairman OGRA and the Financial Institutions who gave us support in the award and financing of this Project and observance of deadline in the transparency decision making have sent a very clear message to foreign investors that Pakistan is open for serious business and serious investors.
The selection of Hanover as a partner was based on competitive evaluation and we are very happy that they have taken the full responsibility not only in setting up but also operating and maintaining the Jamshoro Plant for a period of 5 years.
The Project will, Inshallah, commence production within this year and is a big challenge to all of us. Lastly, let me thank all friends and associates whose prayers and help have made this Project possible.
