Meezan Bank joins 1 Link Network

Meezan Bank Ltd recently signed an agreement to join the 1 Link Switch Network, increasing the number of 1 Link Switch member banks to thirteen. The 1 Link Switch Network is a consortium of banks that owns the largest representative shared financial services network of Pakistan.
The synergy of financial institutions working together for a common goal has steadily increased the strength, services and credibility of the 1 Link Switch over the years.
Today the 1 Link Switch has 13 member banks, with a combined strength of 314 online ATMs in 25 cities. By the end of 2004, the 1 Link Switch ATM strength is expected to increase to over 400 ATMs.
Welcoming Meezan Bank to the 1 Link Switch Network, Naved A Khan, Country Representative, ABN AMRO on behalf of the 1 Link Switch said, "An efficient electronic payment system like 1 Link Switch plays a central role in a country's infrastructure, both in terms of financial stability and facilitating transactions among consumers.
Also speaking on the occasion Irfan Siddiqui, CEO Meezan Bank Ltd Said: "Meezan Bank is looking forward to connecting to the 1 Link Switch Network.
