President Lahore High Court Bar Association Ahmed Awais has urged the people of Pakistan to maintain religious harmony and brotherhood in the sacred month of Muharram.
In a statement here on Monday, Awais also asked the lawyers to play their due role for promoting religious harmony. He said that Muslims were facing problems mainly on account of differences among their ranks.
He said: "Islam is the religion of peace but unfortunately, some miscreants are earning bad name for the followers of this great religion."
