Pakistan to extend friendly ties with Afghanistan

President General Pervez Musharraf on Wednesday said that Pakistan will extend ties of friendship and co-operation with Afghanistan.
He was talking to Vice President of Afghanistan Hedayat Amin Arsala, who called on him here.
President Musharraf said Pakistan remained committed to the Bonn Process and fully supported endeavours of President Karzai for national reconciliation and reconstruction of Afghanistan.
The president said Pakistan would continue to help Afghanistan in whatever way possible.
The visiting dignitary briefed the president on the ongoing efforts of the Afghan government for a broad-based political dispensation in Afghanistan.
He thanked the president for the support and assistance being provided by the Government of Pakistan for reconstruction of Afghanistan.
