Seven killed in bus accident near Okara

Seven people were killed and several injured when a bus, heading for Okara, turned turtle due to poor visibility caused by thick fog on Wednesday morning near village 34/2-RA at Satgarah Morr.
According to police sources, passengers of the bus (FDA-9594) were mostly daily-wagers from nearby villages going to Okara to seek work.
The accident occurred at about 7.15 am when a vehicle went out of the driver's control, veered off the road and fell into a ditch.
Seven people including the bus conductor were killed on the spot, while a dozen or so were injured.
The injured have been shifted to District Headquarters (DHQ) Hospital, Okara where the condition of three is stated to be critical.
Relatives of the passengers of unfortunate from nearby villages were rushed to the hospital to inquire about their love ones.
Those killed in the accident have been identified as Muhammad Sharif S/o Muhammad Sadiq, Jaffer Ali S/o Ameen Ali, Ghulam Ali, Allah Ditta S/o of Wali Muhammad, Yaqub Ali Qalandar of chak 19/1-R, Munir Ahmed of 25/2-R, and one another.
The injured are Abdus Sattar, Mukhtar Ahmed of 28/2-R, Rehmat Ali, Makhan Ali, Munnawar Ali and Muhammad Ali of 19/1-R, Muhammad Nadeem of 25/2-R, Shaukat Ali of village Kohla, Bashir Ahmed of chak 36/GD and others.
