The Higher Education Commission (HEC) has developed the curriculum for the discipline of Software Engineering at graduate and Postgraduate levels being taught at public sector universities and institutions of higher learning of Pakistan.
Professor Dr Aftab Maroof from National University of Emerging Sciences FAST acted as Convener and Professor Dr Imdad Ali Ismaili from University of Sindh as Secretary of the NCRC.
All the recommendations made by the committee in its three days meeting along with draft curriculum will soon be sent by the HEC to the Universities and Institutions of higher learning for their comments and suggestions.
The curriculum will be discussed again in the final meeting of the committee in the light of comments and suggestions received from the concerned quarters.
