Twitter shares continue falling after product head dropped

** Shares of Twitter have shed 2.7 percent since Tuesday morning, after reports the company was replacing its head of consumer product, Jeff Seibert.

** In midday trading, shares down 0.3 percent in midday trading, after falling almost 2 percent earlier in the day.

** Seibert will return to running Twitter's developer product suite Fabric, a job he performed before he was promoted last September to head the restructured product team, Recode reported.

** Twitter has not announced a replacement for Seibert. In May, the company said two senior executives, Jana Messerschmidt and Nathan Hubbard, planned to leave the company, which has undergone multiple management shuffles. Four other top executives left the company in February.

** Since January, shares of the company are down 35.6 percent.
