Wapda launches recovery drive

Water and Power Development Authority (Wapda) has launched a special campaign for recovery of outstanding dues from its permanently disconnected power consumers.
According to Wapda announcement, during the campaign, officials would inspect the premises of such consumers and if any connection were found alive it would be disconnected forthwith without any notice while legal action would be also initiated against the delinquent person.
Wapda has advised the permanently disconnected power consumers to pay their dues immediately so as to avoid inconvenience and legal action.
