Tanvir elected PBC vice chairman

Tanvir Randhawa has been elected vice chairman of the Punjab Bar Council (PBC) by securing 56 votes while his rival candidate Zia Ullah Niazi could bag 42 votes.
For the office of Chairman PBC's Executive Committee, Pervez Inayat Malik has been elected.
He bagged 57 votes while his rival Kaleem Hussain Shah Bokhari could secure 41 votes.
Out of 101 voters, 99 members used their right of vote. The polling was held from 10.00 am to 3.00 pm in a peaceful manner.
The Advocate General Punjab Syed Shabbar Raza Rizvi acted as presiding officer.
