Tajik foreign minister meets President

Foreign Minister of Tajikistan, Talbak Nazarov, who is on three-day official visit to Pakistan, on Saturday met President Pervez Musharraf.
The President welcomed the assurance that Tajikistan has not and will not allow Indian military bases on its soil.
The President stressed the need for enhancing bilateral relations, particularly in the economic sphere, to the mutual advantage of the two countries in years ahead.
The President also emphasised the need for enhancing effectiveness of the Economic Co-operation Organisation (ECO) to facilitate economic integration of the region as envisaged in its charter.
