Punjab Bank joins MCB M-Net Switch

Bank of Punjab (BoP) has become the 17th bank in Pakistan to join the Muslim Commercial Bank (MCB) M-Net Switch, and an agreement of this effect was signed here on Monday.
According to a MCB spokesman, MCB President Muhammad Aftab Manzoor and BoP MD Hamesh Khan signed the partnership agreement on behalf of their respective banks.
Ali Munir, head of Financial Control Group of MCB, Aneeq Khawar, head of Consumer Banking Group of MCB and Anis Iqbal, head of IT Division of BoP, were present on the occasion.
It may be mentioned that the M-Net Switch enables member banks to operate ATMs of other member banks for withdrawing of cash, etc.
At present there were 200 ATMs of MCB, located in 33 cities and almost all the foreign banks in the country have already joined MCB M-Net's facilities.
