Pakistan Wapda Hydro Electric Central Labour Union has asked the government to refrain from privatising the profitable units of Wapda, including the Faisalabad Electric Supply Company and the Jamshoro Thermal Power House.
Union Secretary General Khurshid Ahmad, in a press statement, here on Monday said the privatisation of profitable units of Wapda is not in the interest of country, as it would result further hike in electricity prices.
