The Sindh Information Department has asked the print and electronic-media to play its due role in highlighting Kashmir Day significance on February 5.
A circular of the SID on Monday said that the government had planned to observe Kashmir Day in a befitting manner on February 5, which should get support from the media.
The circular said the media should publish articles, features and reports depicting plight of the Kashmiris and bring into focus the necessity of the restoration of due rights to the Kashmiris.
It said the media should ask people from all walks of life to participate in Kashmir Day and contribute its share of work in the liberation of the occupied land.
