Activity at Karachi and Qasim ports

The Karachi Port handled 86,267 tonnes of cargo including 74,570 tonnes import and 11,697 tonnes export cargo during last 24 hours ending at 0700 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 14,727 tonnes dry and 71,540 tonnes liquid cargo.
Four ships namely Jade Trader, Allenmar, Uni Obtain and Oriental Po sailed to sea during the report period.
Four vessels viz Glory Saney, M.T. Swat, Nord Beach and Corinthiakos are currently at the berths.
Four ships namely Sita Camilla, Induruwa Valley, Islamabad and Ocean-1 expected to sail on Saturday, while M.T. Swat is expected to sail on Sunday.
Three ships namely Mercs Kirinda, Kota Teguh and Global Traveller due to arrive on Saturday, while four vessels viz Shalamar, Conti Asia, Keefan and Iran Sarbaz are due to arrive on Sunday.
Two ships namely Kota Perabu and Wajid Arab are due to arrive on Monday.

A total cargo volume of 49,454 tonnes including 38,319 tonnes import and 11,135 tonnes export cargo was handled during last 24 hours ending at 0800 hours on Saturday.
The cargo comprised of 1,676 tonnes edible oil; 4,322 tonnes chemicals; 9,785 tonnes general cargo; 9,259 tonnes coal and 24,412 tonnes containerised cargo.
Three ships namely M.V. MSC Jordan, Eburna and Yanseni sailed to sea during the report period, while three more vessels viz Safmarine Prime, Qem Star and E. R. Sydny expected to sail on Saturday.
A total of four vessels viz Igloo Espoo, Conti Asia, JO Clipper and Alwine Olden Droff are currently at the outer anchorage.
Three ships namely Igloo Espoo, Conti Asia and JO Clipper due to take berths on Saturday.
Three vessels viz Global Traveller, Jun Shun and Glory Saney due to arrive on Saturday.
