Special NAB counter for Alliance Motors scam victims

The National Accountability Bureau (NAB) NWFP has set up a special counter to ensure speedy disbursement of cheques amongst the Alliance Motors scam victims belonging to the NWFP.
The affected persons have been asked to submit their claims with the NAB Peshawar along with a photocopy of the agreement with the company by January 31, 2004.
The affected persons, who have not yet submitted their claims in the office of the Official Assignee Sindh High Court, have been informed to get the prescribed claim forms from the office of the NAB Peshawar.
According to a release of the NAB office here on Tuesday, the Alliance Motors scam affected persons, belonging to the NWFP, who deposited their money directly into the office of TJ Ibrahim and Alliance Motors have been advised to contact the NAB office here immediately along with photocopies of their original documents.
After necessary verification, the "Dividend Notices" would be dispatched to the affected persons, it added.
Details of the required documents included the original copy of the agreement with the company, copy of the National Identity Card, and receipt of the Official Assignee office.
In case the claimant has died and the claims of Rs 200,000 or less, "Heirship Certificate" from the area "Nazim" should be produced and the "Succession Certificate" from the "Civil Court", if the claim exceeds Rs 200,000.
