APHC team meets Qayyum

A delegation of All Parties Hurriyat Conference (APHC), AJK Chapter, had a meeting with veteran Kashmiri leader and AJK Muslim Conference supreme head Sardar Mohammad Abdul Qayyum Khan on Saturday at his residence to discuss the latest situation regarding Kashmir issue emerging as a result of the recently held Saarc summit at Islamabad.
According to Kashmir Media Service, during the meeting lasting around an hour the Saarc declaration and Indo-Pak joint statement were analysed in detail. President Pervez Musharraf's recent briefing and his resolute stand on Kashmir were termed as extremely sincere and statesmanlike.
The meeting urged India to reciprocate Pakistan's initiatives in a constructive manner.
The APHC delegation was led by its Convenor Mohammad Farooq Rehmani, including Abbas Rizvi, Abdul Majid Malik, Adeel Mushtaq Wani, Advocate Pervez Ahmad, Dr Shaikh Walid Rasool, Farooq Ahmad Wani, Ghulam Nabi Mir, Ishtiaq Hameed, Khadim Hussain, Mohammad Hussain Khateeb, Professor Nazir Ahmad Shawl, Shaukat Hussain Butt.
