Sale of sacrificial animals permitted at designated places

City Nazim, Naimatullah Khan has allowed the selling of sacrificial animals at designated places on the occasion of Eid-ul-Azha.
He has also promulgated Section-144 under which selling of animals was prohibited at some places of the city.
The places designated are Hub River Road near Wilayat Shah Mazar, Baldia Town, Main Super Highway Scheme-33, Shah Abdul Latif Town Sector-22, Bin Qasim Town, Bakra Mandi (Malir Town), Khurram Abad Ground near Mehran Highway, Landhi and Main Manghopir Road near Javedan Cement Factory and Site Town.
Under Section-144 the selling of sacrificial animals at places besides mentioned is prohibited.
In addition to it, collecting skins, camping for this purpose at roads and erecting Shamianas, seeking and collecting skins through loud speakers, any kind of advertising, wall-chalking, hanging banners and distributing hand bills have also been prohibited.
Any individual, organisation or institution eager to collect skins on Eid-ul-Azha would have to take permission beforehand from Executive District Officer Revenue, City Government.
Section-144 has been promulgated for seven days and would be enforced at once.
