Abdul Wadood Khattak, joint secretary, Ministry of Petroleum and Natural Resources, passed away here on early Saturday due to cardiac failure.
He suffered a sudden heart attack at about 3:00am, and was rushed to Shifa International Hospital but could not survive.
His funeral was held at his native village, Hakim Khan Shari, Rabbi, Tehsil Nowshera (NWPP}.
Khattak was a career officer of secretariat group and served in various capacities in different ministries including interior, culture, sports and establishment division etc.
