Rs 40.219 million to be spent on Larkana's uplift

An amount of Rs 40.219 million will be spent on development schemes in Larkana District during the current fiscal year under Annual Development Programme (ADP), Priority Programme (PP) and Citizen Community Board (CCB) Programme in water supply and drainage, roads, education, irrigation sectors.
This was decided in a meeting of District Development Working Party (DDWP), Larkana held here under the Chairmanship of District Co-ordination Officer (DCO) Dr Badaruddin Ujjan at his office on Wednesday.
Under the Priority Programme Rs 5.00 million will be spent on the construction/repair/renovation/maintenance of drainage schemes for Mohallah Kausar Mill near Masum Shah, Larkana City, construction of bridge across Badah Shakh, opposite Khuhro village, taluka Dokri and construction of four rooms, verandah and boundary wall of Government Primary School Haji Khan Khuhro near Dhamrah.
Besides, under the Annual Development Programme (ADP) Rs 18.30 million will be spent on improvement of drainage schemes Kamber, improvement of drainage schemes of village Thohri Bejar, improvement and extension of drainage scheme of Ghathar village and construction of Link Road from Ratodero-Shahdadkot Road at Darya Khan Mastoi- Chakriani Road to Chakriani village and approach to Mithal Khan Mastoi village.
