451,000 CNICs issued in Bahawalpur

The National Database and Registration Authority has issued so far 451,000 computerised national identity cards in Bahawalpur while another 4,86,000 cards were under preparation.
This was informed by Director General Nadra Multan Region Brigadier Pervez Akhter to Governor Punjab during his recent visit.
He also informed Governor Punjab Lieutenant General Khalid Maqbool (Retd) that mobile van will be provided to Nadra Yezman office while Nadra Swift Registration Centre is being established in AhmedpurEast within next few days.
According to an official handout, Governor Punjab inspected Khushal bank where he was told that loans of Rs 84.84 millions have been released to four thousand persons during current financial year.
