LHC declines to entertain Qadir's recovery writ

The Lahore High Court (LHC) has refused to entertain the petition filed for recovery of Dr Qadir and observed that neither any orders indicated his detention nor the petitioner has any locus standi for filing the petition.
The petition was filed by a member of the Lahore High Court Bar Association M D Tahir. The petitioner had prayed to the court to direct the respondent not to harass Dr Qadir and also abstained from handing him over to foreign agencies.
He prayed to the court to direct the respondent government to produce Dr Qadir before the court and also set him at liberty.
