ISLAMABAD: The Islamabad High Court (IHC), Tuesday reserved judgment in a post-arrest bail moved by an accused involved in fraud case of Rs 28.1 million.

Chief Justice Anwar Khan Kasi reserved the judgment after hearing the arguments of the litigants in the application filed by the accused Khurram Shehzad.

The counsel for the petitioner took the plea that the sentence of the crime was three-year and his client was behind the bars from last seven months in Adyala Jail but the case was yet to be decided.

He requested the court to accept post arrest bail of Shehzad and assured his client's full cooperation and presence before the court whenever it would be required.

The bench after hearing the arguments reserved judgment to announce later.

It is pertinent to mention here that Nasreen Bibi alleged that the accused minted Rs 28.1 million from her on the name of business but later nor profit neither actual investment was returned to her. She maintained that accused also gave her cheque against the payment which was bounced by the bank on depositing.
