KP CM expresses satisfaction over pace of development works

PESHAWAR: Chief Minister Khyber Pakhtunkhwa Pervez Khattak has expressed satisfaction over the pace of developmental works in the province saying that 80% funds allocated under ADP has been released while the same amount has been utilized too.

This, he said while presiding over a meeting of the provincial cabinet at the Cabinet Room of Civil Secretariat Peshawar on Friday. Provincial Ministers, Chief Secretary and administrative secretaries attended the meeting.

The cabinet approved bill for the renewal of 78 ministerial staff of the homeopathic and Tibbi-Islamia project. Similarly a bill for restructuring of medical faculty was also approved on the occasion.

The cabinet approved one time reduction in fine on illegally cut wood stocked at Arando, Dir, Kohistan and Torghar to avoid it from spoiling and dispose it off easily. Report about Bank of Khyber was also presented in the cabinet.

The Chief Minister ordered to stop collection of tax on miner minerals in Malakand division till submission of the report of the committee constituted in this regard.

The Cabinet committed headed by Minister for Mineral Development Anisazeb Tahirkhely was ordered to sort out a feasible solution to the issue.

The committee will comprise law minister Imtiaz Quershi, Minister for Culture and Sports Mehmood Khan and Minister for Auqaf Habib-ur-Rehman.
