Saudi oil minister sacked by royal decree: state media

RIYADH: Saudi Arabia's long-serving oil minister Ali al-Naimi has been sacked as part of a major government overhaul, according to a royal decree announced Saturday by state media.

He has been replaced by Khaled al-Faleh, previously health minister, who takes the enlarged portfolio of energy, industry and mineral resources.
