Meanwhile two more ships C.V Jazan and M.T Brizo with containers and Furnace oil also arrived at outer anchorage of Port Qasim during the same period.
Berth occupancy was managed at the port at sixty percent on Sunday where a total of nine ships namely C.V Calidris, C.V MSC Al- Ghero, C.V Hermes, M.V Johar Express, M.V Amnalthia, M.T Orient Pine,
M.T Navigs Excelsiors, M.T Sam Pride and M.T Globe Tanya ore
currently occupying berths to load/offload containers, cement, soya bean seeds, chemicals,diesel oil and paim oil and LPG respectively during last 24 hours.
A cargo volume of 102,473 tonnes comprising 66,050 tonnes imports and 36,423 tonnes exports, inclusive of containerized cargo in 3,452 containers (TEUs)(535 TEUs imports & 1,917 TEUs exports) was handled at the port during last 24 hours.
Two ships, M.V Globe Tanyo and C.V Hermes sailed out to sea on Monday morning, while three more ships, C.V Al-Ghero, C.V Calidris and M.T Navigs Excelsiore are expected to sail on same day.
Four ships C.V Jazan, C.V Washingon, M.V Pelaica,and M.T Brizo,carrying containers, Project Cargo and Furnace oil are expected to take berths at Container Terminal, Multi Purpose Terminal and FOTCO Oil Terminal respectively on Monday. While four more ships C.V NYK Furanc M.V Cenulean, M.T Omera Queen, M.T Okyroe and M.T Karachi are dur to arrive at Port Qasim on same day,and C.V Maersk Atlanta is due to arrive on Tuesday.
