Govt trying best to equip new generation with education: Irfan Siddique

FAISALABAD: Prime Minister's Advisor for National History and Literary Heritage Irfan Siddique on Saturday said the government was trying its best to equip new generation with education.

He was addressing a function after inaugurating a publication section in the library of Jamia Salfia here.

He said a strategic balance between education and character building was imperative to train our youth to face emerging challenges.

He said religious schools were playing a commendable role, particularly institutions like Jamia Salfia which fully supported the government in war against terrorism and extremism.

Earlier, Principal Jamia Salfia Chaudhary Muhammad Yasin, in his welcome address, highlighted the performance of the institution and said it was imparting IT and computer education along with religious education to its students.
