LAHORE: Punjab Chief Minister Muhammad Shehbaz Sharif has congratulated President Shehzad Hussain Butt and other office-bearers on being elected unopposed in the elections of Punjab Union of Journalists. In his felicitation message to the newly elected President Shehzad Hussain Butt, Secretary Aamir Sohail, Senior Vice President Ansaar Hussain Zahid, Vice President Mian Shahid Nadeem, Joint Secretary Sharqi Ahmed Tipu, Finance Secretary Shehbaz Akmal Jandran and Members Governing Body, the Chief Minister said the newly elected leadership of PUJ will come up to the expectations of the journalists' community.

He hoped the newly elected leadership will play its effective role in the resolution of problems being faced by the journalists community.

Shehbaz Sharif said that PML-N government believes in freedom of journalism.
