Pakistan net foreign investment $624mn in July-Dec

KARACHI: Pakistan received $624 million in foreign direct investment in the first half (July-Dec) of the 2015-16 fiscal year, compared with $610 million during the same period a year earlier, said the central bank.

Foreign direct investment declined 2.2 percent in the July to December period, compared with the same period the previous year, according to central bank data.

Net foreign direct investment in the 2014-15 fiscal year, which ended in June, was $851.2 million.
