ISLAMABAD: Abdul Razzaq Khamosh builder Moon Garden residency Karachi filed an application before the Supreme Court for extension of surety bond period and pleaded that he could not arrange money.

The apex court on November 16 directed the residency builders to submit Rs100 million: Rs50 million in cash and the remaining with related documents along with a bank guarantee.

The decision was issued after the builder accepted the residential facility had been erected in violation of the rules and regulations, saying the 200 families in the complex had no knowledge of the illegalities involved.

Salman Akram Raja counsel for Abdul Razzaq Khamosh filed application and stated that his client failed to manage Rs 100 million cash and bank guarantees. He pleaded that the court given time would end tomorrow and his client could not manage the money.

Abdul Razzaq Khamosh also pleaded the court for early hearing of his application against the decision of Sindh High Court.

It is pertinent to mention here that the apex court on the petition of Moon Garden builder stayed the demolition of Moon Garden residency Karachi.
