Lahore, Peshawar sails in Disabled T20 Cricket

KARACHI: Reigning champion Lahore and Peshawar registered their second win to sail in the last-8 stage of ICRC National Disabled Twenty20 Cricket Championship by winning their second matches here on Tuesday.

Muhammad Shahbaz blasted a whirlwind unbeaten 74 off mere than 30 balls with 12 boundaries and three sixes as Lahore whipped Bahawalpur by nine wickets at the UBL Sports Complex Ground.

Sareerullah and Wajid Alam smashed half centuries and shared a century stand as Peshawar routed Sialkot by ten wicket at the same ground.

Sareer hit 37 ball 59 not out with a dozen boundaries and Wajid hammered secven boundaries and three sixes in his unbeaten 51 and also took two wickets to get the man of the match award.
