SARGODHA: Pakistan Peoples Party (PPP) on Monday observed 49th Youm-e-Tasees of the party.

In this regard, a ceremony was held at district secretariat at court road with district president Pakistan Peoples Party Rana Hakim Khan in the chair.

Former state minister Tasneem Ahmad Qureshi was the chief guest.

Addressing the ceremony the former state minister said that Chairman PPP Zulfikar Ali Bhutto had founded the party on November 30, 1967. He added that the basic purpose of forming PPP was to raise voice for the restoration of democracy and struggle against the dictatorship.

He further said that under the leadership of Bilawal Bhutto Zardari Pakistan Peoples Party would continue its struggle to implement the vision of its founding Chairman Zulfikar Ali Bhutto.

A large party workers and office bearers participated in the ceremony.
