Rabbani visits Jamiluddin Aali's residence, offers fateha

ISLAMABAD: Chairman Senate Mian Raza Rabbani Saturday visited residence of late poet, writer and columnist Jamiluddin Aali in Karachi and paid tributes to the deceased on his services as member of the Senate.

He worked with zeal and devotion to promote national unity and development of the country. While eulogizing his services, Mian Raza Rabbani observed that death of Jamiluddin Aali was a great national loss and the country has been deprived of a patriot and a great literary figure, said a press release.

Earlier, the Chairman Senate was received by family members of Jamiluddin Aali. He offered fateha for the departed soul. The Chairman Senate prayed to Almighty to rest the departed soul in eternal peace and grant fortitude to the bereaved family to bear this loss with equanimity.

Mian Raza Rabbani remained for some time at the residence of Jamiluddin Aali and sympathized with family members of late Aali.
