RAWALPINDI: Election Commission of Pakistan (ECP) on Friday deferred Local Government (LG) elections in Dir Kot Sattian union council no-12 of Tehsil Kotli Sattian, in District Rawalpindi.

According to a notification issued by ECP, the decision has been taken in pursuance of the order of Lahore High Court, Rawalpindi Bench.

The third phase of LG elections are scheduled on December 5.
