Rescue sources said that a youth identified as Uzair, 25, son of Javed, a resident of Korangi area, was gunned down by unknown armed men near Habib School in Korangi 5 1/5. The body was shifted to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JMPC) for medico-legal formalities.
In another firing incident, a man, Amin, 40, son of Abdul Hamid, a resident of Purani Sabzi Mandi, was shot and wounded by unidentified gunmen near Eissa Nagri Graveyard. The injured was shifted to JMPC for treatment.
