Two killed in Karachi violence

KARACHI: Two men were shot dead and one other injured in different firing incidents in the metropolis on Wednesday.

According to rescue sources, a man, identified as Junaid, 40, son of Yamin, was shot and injured by unknown armed men riding a motorcycle in North Nazimabad. He suffered severe injuries in the attack. The injured was shifted to Civil Hospital Karachi (CHK), where breathed his last.

Separately, a security guard, identified as, Mumtaz Khan, 30, son of Nasir Khan, was gunned down by unidentified armed men near Murghi Khana in Quaidabad area. The body was moved to Jinnah Postgraduate Medical Center (JMPC) for medico-legal formalities.

In another firing incident, a 35-year-old man, Amir, son of Qamuruddin, was shot and injured by unknown armed men in Rashidabad, SITE area. The injured was brought to Abbasi Shaheed Hospital (ASH) for treatment.
