ISLAMABAD: The National Assembly on the eve of international day for elimination of violence against women, on Wednesday passed a resolution recommending that concrete efforts be made collectively to end discrimination and elimination of violence against women.

The resolution was moved by Minister for Climate Change, Zahid Hamid.

International Day for Elimination of Violence against Women is being observed on November 25.
